Once You Melt The Beeswax Down You Have Made Your Candle Wax

As soon as you melt it down, you will see that you have indeed made candle wax.  At that point in time you want to basically add anything else that you find interesting.  This includes smells, colors, and any other materials.  The sky is the limit here, be creative!

How to Melt Down The Beeswax

Usually people will have a pot and put it on the stove.  Add some water, just a few inches, to the pot.  Then, find another container that you can heat up to a high temperature.  A tin usually works well.  Make sure that it is big enough to hold all of the wax that you want to make.

Once your container is in the few inches of water that is in your pot, you can heat it up.  Then melt down your beeswax and create the candle wax that you want.

At this point, again, you can add any other materials.

Once it’s ready you can pour it into your mold.

Making candle wax is the first step in making some great candles.  There are a few other things that go into it, such as how to make wick, or buy wick, and how to add the wick to your candles.

But for the most part, you have just found out how to make candle wax.  Melt down that beeswax and you have done it easily!  It’s only until you add your wax to a mold, and let it melt, that you have really made your first candle.
